Wildlife conservation fascination started with my trip to Imire in Zimbabwe. My friend Betsy had spoken about it many times and for a few years for one reason or another, I wasn’t able to go. Long story short, Covid happened and it gave me the opportunity to volunteer my time. Sadly Betsy couldn’t go this time but I don’t worry because I know I’ll be back.

-Thank you Betsy for showing me a much bigger world, a world outside of my comfort zone, a world very far away and easily forgotten, to give me just a bit of perspective and forever fill my heart with love.
A PLACE LIKE NO OTHER…
Imire’s mission is to protect endangered wildlife in Africa and support the conservation of all wildlife. They strongly believe that rural communities and conservation programs can thrive side by side, working together to ensure the protection of their natural heritage. At Imire, their aim is to enhance the relationship between tourism, conservation projects, and communities. They do this through long-term sustainable environmental management and community projects that have a positive and lasting impact on all.

OUR MISSION
Mama G’s believes in addressing hunger by sharing food and hope, and bringing resources donated by members of the community directly to the people who need it most.
